Orion™ 1803 Steam Sample Conditioner Take high-pressure steam samples at the reduced temperature and pressure levels required by our online analyzers using the Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ 1803 Steam Sample Conditioner. Process steam is used in many industries; it is the analysis of this steam that has made Orion online analyzers so important in the power, paper, petrochemical and other industries. Handles pressures of up to 20897KPa (3030psi)— average pressure of process steam is approximately 6896KPa (1000psi) Reduces the temperature of the sample from 538°C (1000°F) to under 38°C (100°F) Requires no electrical hook up, so it can be used in multiple countries regardless of the voltage requirements Can also be used in hazardous locations (e.g. petrochem) without any danger of explosion Has a mechanical temperature shut off valve which will trip if the temperature exceeds 40°C (104°F) Avoids costly damage if cooler fails or the cooling water becomes too hot; valve diverts the hot sample away from online monitor
