Pro Electric Vehicle Charger Test Kit (TEV500)

The Triplett Model TEV500 PRO Electric Vehicle Charger Test Kit tests charging stations using basic & advanced diagnostics. PE Pre-Test checks the PE conductor for the possible presence of dangerous voltage against earth. With the CP (Control Pilot) State rotary switch selector various vehicle states can be simulated. You can use the CP Signal output terminals to connect your oscilloscope to check the waveform and amplitude of the CP signal. CP Error “E” simulates the behavior of the station when there is an established short circuit between CP and PE. PE Error (Earth Fault) simulates interruption of the PE conductor. When the CCID TRIP Test Button is pressed, a connection between L1 and PE is established and CCID from the station should abort charging process. A phase indicator LED will illuminate when phase voltage on L1 is present at the charging connector. The Measuring Terminal Outputs L1, L2(N), PE and PP are directly connected to the L1, L2(N), PE and PP conductors of the tested charging station. You can use your digital multimeter for quickly viewing voltage readings on these lines. SAE J1772 complies with North American standards.

Tint Meter - (TNM50)

The Triplett Model TNM50 Tint Meter measures the transmittance of light for use on automotive windows, insulation paper, organic material, painting, coating material, film, glass, and plastic sheet. It can also measure the sun blocking capabilities of window curtains. It has a 0 to 100% transmittance range with a 0 to 1/4'' (0 to 6.5mm) thickness range and an accuracy of ±2%. It features a power-on self calibration. Readings are displayed on the 3-Digit, 999 count LCD. Automatic data hold locks the reading on the display for 30 seconds before auto-shutdown begins to conserve battery life. A continuous use function can be used to overide auto-shutdown for longer operating times.

Electrostatic Field Meter - (SFM500)

The Triplett Model SFM500 Electrostatic Field Meter is used for the non-contact measurement of an electrostatic charge on a body or object. It has a range of  -19.000kV to +19.000kV and a measuring distance of 1'' (2.54c). Measurements are read on the 4.5 digit (19,999 count) backlit LCD display. It features user programmable audible high/low alarm settings, Data hold function that freezes the reading on the display, Min/Max captures the highest and lowest readings, and a Zero function that clears residual readings on the display and resets it to zero. You can manually store/recall 99 readings. Additional features include a low battery indicator, Auto power off (with disable) to conserve battery life, and a tripod mount for hands-free operation.
